State Of The Sade (2/19/19)
Hey everyone,
Its Feb. 19 currently and I've been wanting to create a more official blog/forum area for a long time so Blogger will just have to do for now as a temporary resource since I know there have been many complaints about the website. This is the first post I'll create here.
Nevertheless, regarding the State of the Sade, Palisade will be updating its website for the next few days to experiment and find new ways to make it more accessible, user-friendly, and awesome for everybody.
As always, these updates will be addressed to our email group that consists of interested members and leaders of registered organizations (more popularly known as our pacts), which as of currently Palisade stands at 7 total.
We stand at $1,000+ for total donations as of 2019 which I find amazing considering our project consists mostly of broke teens and an unorganized band of committed members trying to make this project successful. Of that $1,000, 20 charities and non-profits have benefited, our largest benefactor being Lasting Hope ministry in Uganda which we've given $385 to.
We currently have 4 teams: Media, Promotion, Fundraising, and Brainstorming. These 4 are what I structured to keep Palisade active, balanced, and organized. These may or may not stay, it wholly depends on how well they work moving forward. Almost no decisions I make are guaranteed, we're a really flexible group at our core and I like it like that. Our fluidity is what makes this group so potent.
Currently, we're moving toward having a graphic designer, blogger, and video manager for our project (which people may or may not be paid commission for, depends on how I'm feeling), to boost our team up in popularity.
If I use these blogs to vent, ever, its because I'm venting and that's probably not going to change. If anything, I want people to use this platform to vent.
Our biggest goal right now is trying to get more groups to register so our pact count can rise enough that other organizations will see us and think, "Damn, that's impressive." But we do have other goals that coincide with this regarding our pacts.
Regardless, these are the goals of Palisade for right now until any further updates arise. Thank you everyone who read this, I can't express how much I appreciate it.

- We The Current is expecting music promotion from our group.
- Lasting Hope ministry is expecting further donations this month. A severe food shortage is hitting them and it's not healthy.
- Dwell For Christ requested a 2nd clothing drive from us, although it's not urgent.
Regardless, these are the goals of Palisade for right now until any further updates arise. Thank you everyone who read this, I can't express how much I appreciate it.
